This fall sure brought a whirlwind of different weather! This late September wedding, we were blessed with perfect temperatures! Devon and Clinton traveled north a few hours to host their wedding at Home Sweet Home in Templeton, CA which has quickly become a favorite venue of mine on the central coast. There is so much character here and versatility for couples to really incorporate a fun rustic style.
When the two of them told me their theme was whisky, I had a feeling I was in for a party. The centerpieces were decorated with whisky bottles filled with baby’s breath accompanied with other smaller vases. It really came together to make a fun and unique look. Their cake, made by a dear friend, was absolutely beautiful as well. I’m a sucker for some turquoise color and they incorporated small accent colors of it around which really popped.
The bride and bridesmaids found some really cute flannels as well embroidered with “bride” and “bridesmaid” on the back on them. LOVE this idea! Wish they had these 10 years ago when I got married!! A lot has changed since then though! The boys sported their favorite football teams on their socks as well. I love it! Always makes for a fun photo! Lots of laughter, smiles and fun as you will see.
Kari, the coordinator at Home Sweet Home, really goes above and beyond to work with you and make your day special. If you have worked with me before, you know how much I love to be on time and make not only the bride and groom, but the coordinator and caterers happy. Kari is so easy to work with and is so positive that it helps the whole craziness of the day flow so well! She also did the florals for this wedding!! I am so excited to have a number of my 2018 weddings there this year and hope to book even more there soon!
